It would be pretty difficult for an artist to be further up the 50 Miles alley than James Davis is. Davis played "Georgia drumbeat", an instrumental music that contains elements of blues, fife-and-drum, and country. Within five minutes of my first exposure to Mr. Davis' music, I was having visions of visiting him down in Georgia and/or flying him up to NYC to play at a party. (regrettably, he has since passed away) There are four tunes here, all rockers.
