Cooper-Moore Outtakes 1978 Hopscotch CD $8 |
A budget-priced disc containing key early work from Cooper-Moore. This collection documents the integration of his homemade instruments into his music and the development of several themes that have become personal touchstones in his concept that incorporates avant-garde jazz, theater, traditional American and African musics, and so forth. Several of the tunes were released in different forms elsewhere - "Prayer" turned up on David S. Ware's (sic) Birth of a Being LP and "In the Beginning" had been recorded for Alan Braufman's Valley of Search album.
