  How to Order
The first step is to send an e-mail to adam {at} 50milesofelbowroom {dot} com with the items you'd like to purchase, where you'd like your order to ship, and your preferred shipping method. The shipping options we offer are detailed below.

We'll check our stock to make sure we have everything you want and then respond with a final price. Please do not send any payment until you receive an invoice from us.

  Payment Options

For orders placed within the United States, we accept personal checks, postal money orders, and Paypal. Orders paid for with a personal check will not ship until the check clears with the bank.

Please note that under normal circumstances we pick up mail from the PO Box once a week, on Saturdays.

Customers outside the United States must use Paypal.

Tax

Orders shipping to a New York address will have the appropriate sales tax added to the total merchandise costs.

  Shipping

United States Postal Service:

Media Mail is the cheapest method for shipping your goods, especially for a heavier package, and it is also usually the slowest.

Priority Mail tends to provide faster service than Media Mail (though neither way is guaranteed). The USPS uses a zone system to determine the charge for this service, which means the shipping price will vary based upon your location.

If you choose one these methods, you will be charged the actual cost of shipping, plus $2.50 for materials and Delivery Confirmation. If you would like your package to be insured, there will be an additional charge ($1.35 for $50 of insurance, $2.30 for $100, $3.35 for $200, and so on).

International Orders

Orders shipping outside of the United States via the United States Postal Service are sent Air Mail. Shipping rates will vary by country, so please write for a quote. (If you want to get an idea for how much your package might cost to ship, go to USPS.) In addition to the shipping cost, our standard $2.00 materials fee is added to the total. Insurance and return receipt can be purchased for an additional fee. If you do not opt for this service, please be advised that the package is sent at your own risk.

Shipping internationally via UPS is also an option, but note that it is often quite expensive (you may go to UPS if you want to get an idea of the cost that would be involved).
